THE PERFECT BACKPACK FOR MOMS THAT LOVE TO TRAVEL

I am forever on the hunt for the perfect multi-use bag or backpack.

You know why? Because I hate buying bags. I just hate it. I already have way too many purses, backpacks, tote bags, canvas bags, laptop bags, grocery bags, and overnight bags in my house and I seriously can't stand it.

The last thing I need is another bag I can only use for one specific situation, then have no idea where to store it when it's not in use.

Enter this backpack!

2 years ago my husband ordered it from Amazon for my birthday, and he hit a home run because it checks all the boxes: it keeps me hands-free to deal with my children, it's cute but not obnoxious, it's not so expensive that I'll worry about staining or ruining it, it's durable, organized, and holds quite a bit of stuff without being bulky. It's a utilitarian mom's dream.

I thought I would share this one because it has stood the test of time, and I've used it for everything from running to the grocery store with my kids, to air travel, to a day at Disney, and everything in between.

BEST BACKPACK FEATURES

First of all, I love that it's a neutral color so it will match whatever I'm wearing. As much as I love bright colors, especially anything in turquoise, I tend to stick with a natural color scheme for things like shoes and bags. This one also comes in black and dark brown.

This backpack has a zipper at the top and a flap that secures with magnetic buttons. Whatever I'm storing in my bag is secure when my kids inevitably knock it over while trying to get snacks or water out of it. The material is thick and durable and can withstand the weight of a DSLR, a laptop, or a heavy water bottle.

I think my favorite feature, though, is the zip-up compartment on the back of the bag that fits my cell phone perfectly. Usually, I hate that if I'm wearing a backpack I don't have quick access to my phone or keys, but that's not a problem with this bag. I can quickly reach behind me for my phone, usually to take a picture or video of my kids. It's nice to have my phone resting against my back, too, if I'm in a large crowd and don't want it to get stolen.

There is a laptop compartment, which I believe holds devices and laptops up to 14 inches. If you have a 15-inch laptop like me, it does fit in the main compartment, so you can store other things in the designated laptop part. I think this feature makes it a great option as a carry-on bag.

WHAT THIS TRAVEL BACKPACK IS MISSING

The only thing I would change about this bag is that it does not have a water bottle pocket on the side. Since I'm an avid water drinker, I like to have my water bottle handy at all times It's not a deal-breaker, as there is plenty of space on the inside of the bag to store a water container, it's just not as convenient.

Anyway, this bag is awesome, and I've gotten a lot of use out of it over the years, so I thought other moms might enjoy it, too!
