My name is Emily, and I’m the mom behind A Mom Explores. I’m a former high school Spanish teacher who loves to travel the world and learn languages. When I retired from my teaching job to stay home with my kids, I decided I didn’t want to give up traveling, so I started this family travel blog and began exploring!
We’re really lucky to live in Florida, because every city has that vacation destination charm. We love exploring near and far, from beach towns right down the road to far flung cities in the U.S. and abroad. In my opinion, travel with kids is possible almost anywhere, and it all comes down to planning and mindset.
